Beds
A good night sleep is very important. For this reason, our comfortable beds are equipped with 100% synthetic pillows and duvets. There is also a soft blanket available in your cupboard.

Air-condition & Heating
All our rooms are equipped with an individual temperature setting for your comfort. Please use remote control to set the air conditioning. If you need any assistance or have questions about the system, please contact us for help.

Bathrobes are available on request. Please contact Reception for further details.

“Do not Disturb”
In case you do not wish to be disturbed, please leave the “Do not disturb” sign on the outside doorknob. If you do not want to receive any telephone calls, please inform us in advance. Internal room-to-room calls cannot be prevented!



Check In
A hotel day starts at 15h00 on the day of arrival and ends at 11h00 of the following day. Failure to check out by 11h00 could incur costs.
By Law visitors must present personal identification (ID or Passport) for hotel records.
Check Out
Check out time is 11h00.
Please inform the staff on Ext: 6400, if you wish to retain your room beyond this time. The extension will be given depending on the availability. If the room is available, the normal tariff will be charged.
The staff will assist you to store your luggage if you would like to spend more time in town before leaving for the airport.
On failure of the guest to vacate the room on expiry or period, additional cost will be charged.
Load Shedding
South Africa is currently experiencing scheduled loadshedding (blackouts)
Fortunately, as a visitor to South Africa, it’s unlikely your day-to-day activities will be significantly impacted, and load shedding is no reason to cancel a holiday to the country. Kaap Mooi Luxury Guesthouse have measures in place to counteract the impact of the power cuts, to the point that you may not even notice the disruption. We can run the WiFi, Lights and Security systems, but not air-conditioning.
For information about load shedding times, kindly ask any of our staff.

Parking
We do not offer any parking. However, there is adequate street parking available. We recommend that you clear the vehicle of any visible items to avoid tempting any potential criminals.
We are not responsible for vehicles or any valuables which were left behind.

Concierge Service
Our team assists with all your requests and wishes. Restaurant recommendations, flower arrangements, Theatre and Museum tickets as well as mailing your correspondence.

At Kaap Mooi we take great pride in cleanliness. We use SANIC to clean our mattresses to ensure your sleeping environment is hygienic, allergy free, and mite free. You can rest assured tonight you are resting in clean fresh bed specially prepared for you.



Lost & Found
All found items are stored in our manager’s office for 3 months. Please contact us if you are missing something.
Minibar
The minibar in your room is equipped with 2 bottles of water
Personal Hygiene
We have shaving kits, dental kits and lady sets available upon request. Simply contact us and it will be brought to your room.
Safe
All our rooms are equipped with an
in-room safe. You find it in your main wardrobe. Please follow the instructions provided on the front side of the safe. The hotel does not take responsibility for any items not placed in the
in-room safe.
